Polyethylene and Polypropylene Binders
Usually referred to as "Poly" or plastic, these materials
are an excellent choice for economy and durability. Available in
many stock colors, several finishes and seven thickness', they offer
the ability to construct a custom product that is cost effective,
durable and attractive.
Thinner gauge materials are a good choice for moderate use with
lower capacities. Heavier gauge materials, used for higher capacity,
can really take abuse and are the right choice to protect your materials
in the field where heavy usage and abuse can be expected. Binders,
tote boxes, heavy-duty catalogs, magazine storage and CD Rom holders
are just a few of the items which can be constructed with this material.
Numerous decorating techniques can be applied to make your product
exceptional, including one to six color P.M.S. match silk screening,
four color process silk screening, 150-line offset printing, foil
stamping, blind de-bossing and blind embossing. You can add pockets,
business card pockets, label holders, CD Rom pockets, die cut windows
and finger pulls.
Poly Clear Views
Poly material may be used to create a clear view by independently
welding a piece of matte clear to the cover, spine or inside to
create a pocket. This process uses a tool with a 1/8" stippled
edge to weld the material to the preformed cover. Please note that
on .035-gauge material and thinner, there will be a slight distortion
in the material where a pocket is applied.
